Day 10 (9/Sept/2019): A Gudiña to Laza

On most days I manage to post something of interest but today was so packed – 35km of walking on mostly hard road surfaces – that I hardly have energy. The views were spectacular so I hope that the photos speak for themselves.

We ended the day with a chance encounter with two wonderful ladies from Washington State – Dorothea (95 years old and doing her fifth Camino) and Tanya, her daughter. We ended up having dinner together at the super bar/restaurant in the center of Laza. They’re walking in reverse toward Seville and I hope that my friends from the Amis du Camino Mozarabe Via de la Plata will be able to help them – but they only have internet access when they find a WiFi hotspot so I don’t know how we will be able to do that.
